United Health Products, Inc. is a medical technology and device company focused on developing products intended to help manage bleeding across the surgical, dialysis, dental, and emergency medicine sectors. We manufacture our patented hemostatic gauze, CelluSTAT™ Absorbable Hemostat, which is derived from natural cellulose found in plant material.

CelluSTAT™ Absorbable Hemostat is a pH neutral, regenerated cellulose designed to accelerate hemostasis in mild to moderate bleeding situations. The device is cut, packaged, and sterilized in the U.S. in collaboration with our FDA-registered partners to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Our Mission

Our goal is to develop products that assist medical practitioners in controlling bleeding during medical procedures. UHP is currently pursuing a class III Premarket Approval (PMA) for CelluSTAT™ Absorbable Hemostat that will allow our hemostatic gauze to be used for mild to moderate internal bleeding during surgical procedures. Our PMA application was submitted March 21, 2024, and is currently under review by the FDA.
